1. About PetOS

PetOS is a pet health and wellness tracking application that helps pet owners organise and manage their pet's health information, activities, and care routines. PetOS is operated by Three Pixels Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PetOS, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use PetOS. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access.

5. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the PetOS application for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms.

6. Pet Information

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter about your pets. PetOS is designed to help you organise and track pet health data, but the information you enter is your responsibility.

7. Sharing Features

PetOS allows you to share pet information with co-owners and carers. When you share information:

  • You are responsible for choosing who to share with
  • Shared users will have access to the pet information you share
  • You can revoke sharing access at any time
  • Please only share with people you trust

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
  • Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
  • Use the app in any way that could damage or impair its operation

9. Health Disclaimer

Important: PetOS is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian with any questions you may have regarding your pet's health. Never disregard professional veterinary advice or delay seeking it because of information tracked in PetOS.

PetOS may display vaccination status indicators (such as "up to date", "due soon", or "overdue") based on dates and schedules you enter. These indicators are calculated from user-entered data only and do not constitute veterinary recommendations. Vaccination requirements vary by species, breed, age, health status, and local regulations. Always consult your veterinarian to determine the appropriate vaccination schedule for your pet.

Any health-related information displayed in PetOS, including medication records, medical conditions, and sensitivity tracking, is provided for personal record-keeping purposes only. PetOS does not diagnose conditions, recommend treatments, or provide clinical guidance of any kind.

10. Future Paid Features

PetOS is currently free to use. We may introduce premium features in the future. If we do, we will clearly communicate any costs before you are charged, and your existing free features will continue to work.

11. Intellectual Property

The PetOS app, including its design, code, graphics, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by PetOS and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.

12. Third-Party Services

PetOS uses third-party services for authentication, data storage, and app delivery. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PetOS if you violate these terms or engage in activities that may harm other users or the app. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings.

14. Data Loss Disclaimer

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee that data loss will never occur. We recommend keeping important pet health records in multiple locations.

15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

PetOS is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of PetOS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
