How to Delete Your Account
- Open the PetOS app on your device
- Tap the Menu tab at the bottom
- Scroll down to the Account section
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision
What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your email address and profile information
- All pet profiles (names, species, photos, details)
- All activity logs (weight tracking, exercise records, medical logs)
- All uploaded photos
- Sharing permissions with family members and carers
- All app preferences and settings
Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Your data will be immediately deleted from our active databases, and backup copies will be permanently deleted within 14 days.
Data Retention
When you delete your account, your personal data is immediately removed from our active databases. Backup copies are permanently deleted within 14 days. We do not retain any personal information after this period, except as required by law.
